Policy Engagement

This self-paced course is designed to support and equip researchers at all career stages with the tools and skills to make a demonstrable difference to evidence-informed public policy with their research; to engage effectively with public policy at a range of levels and to translate their research into policy insights and real-world impacts.

Welcome to the Policy Engagement online course!

Whether you seek to inform the policies of an organisation, local government, national policy or guidelines, or influence policy on the international stage, this course will provide practical guidance on using your research to change how things are done, for the better. 

This course includes video lectures, useful readings and other resources to support your policy engagement journey. The online training materials are entirely self-paced so that it is available when it is most convenient and timely for you.

Over the course of this training, we will address the following overarching topics:
