Dr. Andrew George

Andrew is a dynamic and experienced Knowledge and Learning professional with a Ph.D. in Biology, specializing in the development and implementation of educational programs in the biotech industry. He is an expert in collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver training that enhances scientific understanding and application.

As the Director of Participatory Programs for the Institute for Methods Innovation, Dr. George leads the design and execution of civic science initiatives to better understand asset-based approaches that allow research to happen with communities and not for them.

Andrew is currently leading the Elevate Co-lab project funded by the Dana Foundation that seeks to identify repeatable and scalable approaches to supporting community-driven solutions to challenges at the intersection of neuroscience and society.
